FAQ
1. How do I determine the correct housing type for my process (single bag vs multi-bag)?
It depends on flow rate and downtime tolerance. Single bag is suitable for small to medium flow, while multi-bag housings are used for continuous high-flow operations where bag change frequency needs to be minimized.
2. What is the real limiting factor for flow capacity—housing size or filter bag?
Both matter, but in practice the limiting factor is pressure drop and particle loading. Even with a large housing, high-viscosity or heavy contamination will reduce effective flow.
3. What surface treatment is required for different industries?
For general chemical use, industrial pickling is sufficient. For food, beverage, or pharma, we recommend internal polishing (Ra ≤ 0.8 μm or better depending on requirement) plus passivation.
4. How do you ensure no bypass or leakage during operation?
Key points are basket alignment, sealing ring compression, and cover locking structure. We use precision-machined sealing surfaces to avoid bypass caused by deformation or improper seating.
5. What happens if pressure drops suddenly increase during operation?
This usually indicates bag clogging or excessive particle load. The system should be stopped and the bag replaced; continuous operation under high differential pressure may damage the bag or housing.
6. Can the housing be customized for existing pipeline systems?
Yes. We can match inlet/outlet orientation, flange standard (ANSI/DIN/JIS), height constraints, and footprint to fit existing installations.
